Laptop cooler: do it yourself methods

An active laptop cooler will generally include include fans. They may have at least one or even have as much as four fans for ultimate laptop cooling. Today they are the more popular laptop cooling category. The other one is the passive cooling system that does not require external power to function but consist or thermally conductive materials to increase the airflow under the laptop. The only disadvantage active cooling pads has is that they have to be plugged into your laptop’s USB port. That means additional expenses on electricity. And they may not be too portable for the traveling laptop owner.¬† Also the fans may cause some noise that will be irritating while you’re working on your laptop.

If you want to do your part in preserving the environment and cooling pads with fans are not impressive to you, here are suggestions you may do on your own to make your laptop cool at all times. This is also a great way to recycle some objects around you.

You may create a laptop stand out of a thermal bottle. But, instead of putting hot water to it, you fill with it cold water. Or, you may even fill it with crushed ice. Just look for other things at home that can act as support for your laptop and homemade laptop stand. There are plenty of things at home or in your junk yard that can actually work as laptop stands perfect to elevate your laptop and make room underneath¬† it for adequate airflow. Another method is to regularly clean your laptop fans to keep it from dust and help promote its proper functioning for a long time. Of course, you can only do this if you’re comfortable with it. If you aren’t, you can have an expert do it for you.
